Student Merchandising Association

The University of Georgia Student Merchandising Association is a student organization that works to develop its members into future leaders of the fashion industry. SMA engages in meetings with industry professionals, alumni panels, collaborative creative projects, and an annual philanthropic fashion show.

As a member of the Public Relations team, I run the Student Merchandising Association's official website and contribute social media content to advertise our events and projects as well as increase membership.

Executive Financial Chair
2021-2022

As Treasurer, I am the sole manager of the Association's finances, overseeing and budgeting an account of over $5,000. I handle dues from over 200 members, work with event venues and local businesses, and allocate funds for creative projects and events.
